the start...
This is my first experiment with silkscreen printing, it turned out to be a very messy job, but cleanliness will come with experience, I’m sure. From the jar of black printing ink and the hands of me, fatty boomstix was born.

Eep!
This wonderfully quirky measuring tape was given to me following a spring clean at my aunt’s house. Aaah, who knew such a pretty thing could emerge from such a dirty job! Time to start measuring things!
ikea. I love you!
Look what I got yesterday. I was all smiles when my friend, Suzie walked in with this folded heap of loveliness! I have been searching high and low for a way to get my grubby paws on this fabric for months now. Suzie offered to bring some of it back from her trip to Perth. So, now you will have to find it on your own. Here’s a hint, it’s from IKEA, designed by Ăsa Ekstrŏm.

before... a tale of a tragic chest of drawers
This tired and sick looking chest of drawers was hiding in a shed somewhere for years, only for me to discover it and make it all shinny and new. This is the slightly after-before picture, I had already started to sand it when I took the picture. Keep an eye out for the After-after picture coming soon!
